South Tampa Counseling and Therapy

I know it takes courage to reach out to a stranger, but let me assure you I will not feel like a stranger after the first few minutes. One of the greatest compliments I have received from a client:

“I have been in counseling for most of my life. You are the best counselor I have ever had. Do you know why? Because I can feel your heart.”

I provide counseling and therapy for adults, teens, couples and families. As a South Tampa Counselor and Therapist with over a decade of experience, I have helped thousands of clients through individual counseling, marriage counseling, couples counseling, relationship counseling, and grief therapy.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), I do not follow a one-size-fits-all approach. I tailor my counseling style to fit your unique needs and personality, adapting my methods to be the most effective for you.

Techniques and Therapies I Employ:
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
• Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)
• Somatic Therapy
• Person-Centered Therapy
• Strength-Based Therapy
• Family Systems Theory
• Gottman Method Relationship Therapy

In my solo private practice, you work directly with me from your first message to your last session. I personally handle every session, every email, and every record. There are no assistants, no intake coordinators, and no administrative staff. Your care is private, direct, and one‑on‑one.

Clients at my South Tampa office appreciate my active approach to counseling and therapy. As your counselor, I am engaged, offering supportive counseling and meaningful guidance, rather than simply nodding and asking, “How does that make you feel?

Are negative thoughts getting in your way? Our thoughts can be our greatest strength when we learn to regulate them – let me empower you to take control. I work with individuals to build confidence, and I guide them to reach their full potential through psychotherapy and counseling. Read More about counseling for individuals.

Do you want to feel more connected to your partner? Our relationships are at the forefront of our happiness when they are in harmony – I can guide you to love, understanding, and healing through marriage therapy and couples counseling. Read More about relationship counseling.

Whether you are an individual struggling with panic, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or self-esteem issues, or you are a couple that wants to stop fighting and find intimacy, I am here to help you build a happier and more fulfilling life.

Starting Therapy With Me

Reaching out is the hardest part...

It begins with an email. I respond personally with my availability and rates.

If we move forward, I’ll confirm your appointment and send a secure link to my New Client Intake Form. It collects clinical background information and asks open-ended questions about what brought you here and what you hope will change. There is enough space to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.

Before we meet for the first time, I carefully review everything you share in the form. This allows us to get right to work instead of spending the first session on intake.

Email me when you’re ready to begin.
